The Journey Within: Building A Life Rooted In Self-Love.
Falling In love With Yourself : Journey To Self Acceptance.
Lately my personal life was shaky and rumbling and it forced me to reflect back to my past…
In my journey of self reflection, I noticed that I have always been attracting similar people with similar energies towards me, be it Friends or Romantic Relationship or Colleagues on the work front… I got clueless and a constant need to find out why, arouse!!!
It dawned on me that in the process of proving my self “the best”, l continuously attracted just one kind of people. Keeping everybody’s happiness in the forefront for the littlest of the reasons same kind of people came into my life invariably, my simplest questions were even these mattered.
Can I score so and so marks in my exam?
Can I crack that job interview?
Or Can I achieve my Health goals?
All this for everyone else but for myself. That constant need to prove myself via their validation or appreciation had lead me to similar experiences in relationships. The society, movies, and a lot of other things around us, create a scene of reliance on external validation so much that we are getting lost in the process instead of finding ourselves.
Gradually, I understood it was not factual but only my beliefs.
Theses were coming from my past experience, self doubt, fears created by me of their opinions about me.
After a relationship is affected, people say work on yourself, give it time to heal, time will heal things, you’ll get better..

After a relationship is affected, people say work on yourself, give it time to heal, time will heal things, you’ll get better..
But “how will time 🕕 heal us?”
Used to be my question in my head🧠..
What are you going in the duration of time that healing is happening?
- Are we raising our self ?
- Are we reflecting on what we did earlier which did not help us?
- Are we trying to change the present habits to make a better future?
- Are we starting to value and love ourselves?
- Are we starting to ask for self validation?
We over a period of time start to love someone else more, be it our parents, our partner, our friends and value them more than ourselves and feel good about it. Only, if we know how to love ourselves we will know how to love others better. I feel instead of them first, we should definitely love and value ourselves more each day as its important to remind ourselves first that our value doesn’t depend on others validation.
Rather than facing the inner lacking with truth and absolute clarity we are running behind an image created by the society for us to believe as an Ideal. Where as we should embrace our flaws and imperfections, true self love means accepting every part of ourselves, especially the circumstances and their effects on ourselves positively and turning them into assets to be the best person we are, which is self love..💖💖💖💖💖
This Valentine's Day let's love ourselves first and make it our own day❗❗❗❣❣❣
