What is Silence?

It’s superficially know as lack of auditory sound around us, but it can also be a deeper state of peace, reflection, inner connection and stillness.



Silence can give us a lot of answers as well. Silence can lead us from confusion to clarity, problems to solutions, chaos to calm, overthinking to mindfulness, a deep sense of connection from within. 



Silence can be external and internal both, sitting in a serene environment or sitting in meditation. Silence can help us deeply on our relationships also. The non stop clutter of the monkey mind, starts to declutter on its own. It adds to the aura which emanates the tone of your being and creates a calm collected decisive body language which impacts the world.



But how do we experience silence?

It’s a practice which needs to be followed with commitment to ourselves for long term consistency. Initially when I was practicing silence, it taught me a lot of things, it bought a lot of things under my notice which was going unnoticed for a long time. I learned to get more perspectives in life. My understanding towards situations and people increased. My problem solving ability got a boost, I could feel more calm from within, I experienced a different kind of freedom from my thoughts and the non stop chatter box of my mind. I felt like the queen of my thoughts, words and action. I felt powerful. 



Impact of silence in our surrounding.

1. Universe is in sync with You.

2. You are in sync with the Universe.


As soon as you become silent within and outside yourself there is a deep calm which sets in. Absolute clarity, instant decisions, awareness of the divine plan and your role in it. 


Effect on the people around you or how people perceive you at that time starts changing. An imaginary distancing from the world around you . There perception of your situations, of thoughts, decisions, strength, status, opinions, apprehensions, state of mind, the power with which you deal with it.

Not only the world around you even you are not aware of the superpowerful person you have become when you choose to be silent.


The silence is existing in every cell of your body and you dwell in it , silence helps us opinion-ate relevantly.  You are empowered and you take phenomenal responsibility of existing in the absolute truth.


The state of silence saves you from abrupt , repartees , illogical decisions , confused existence, disruptions in relationships, unnecessary involvement, a step towards spiritualism by absolute detachment.


Simple tips which helped me get here with my comfortable space with silence .

1. I started to focus on my breathes by keeping alarms every 2 hours.

2. Initial one hour of getting up , no use of phone and not talking to anyone.

3. Reflect on the day , emotions for 5-7 mins before going to bed.

4. Embrace the change around 

5. Start learning to respond instead of reacting.



Silence isn’t empty, it’s full of answers.
